NFC East Showdown

The Washington Commanders head up to Philadelphia to play the Eagles for an NFC clash this weekend. Despite the 3 - 0 start for the Eagles they haven’t liked the way they have look in the passing game. Quarterback Jalen Hurts in the first three weeks has recorded 3 touchdown passes to 3 interceptions with a total of 640 passing yards. The stat that hasn’t been in the realm of what we are use to with Jalen Hurts is that his quarterback rating is at 44 which is considerable down from last years 68 QBR. One the other side the run game and defense has looked very solid and has been the main factor to why Philadelphia is off to another great start of 3 - 0. D’Andre Swift is seeing the best days of his career running behind this Eagles offensive line as he ranks second amongst all running backs with 308 yards to start off the season. With that being said the NFC East is so unpredictable when it comes to matchups and Washington is a team that can get hot at any minute. Week 2 against the Broncos the Commanders came back from an 18 point deficit to win the game 35 - 33. This week the Eagles should rely on the run game again as Washington’s defense is off to a very slow start as they have allowed nearly 300 yards on the ground the last 2 games coming in. Look for offensive Brian Johnson to take advantage of the Commanders poor run defense come Sunday.
