New York Rallies to 5-1

Week six did not stop the New York Giants from powering forward. Sunday they continued their winning streak over the Ravens. This comeback victory of 24-20 over Baltimore has changed the opinions many may have had towards the so called “underdogs”.

Down 20-10 in the fourth, the Giants increased the intensity to secure the win. New York scored 14 unanswered points after an interception led to the game winning touchdown.

Two rookies, Wan’Dale Robinson and Daniel Bellinger, teamed for two touchdowns. Besides his touchdown, Bellinger also led the team with five catches. Surprisingly, Barkley did not play as impressive as expected. Despite this, he still managed to finish the game with one touchdown.

Also on the offensive side, running back Kenyan Drake and Mark Andrews excelled. Drake rushed 119 yards while Andrews caught seven passes for 106 yards.

New York stepped up their touchdown game last Sunday instead of relying on field goal attempts as in their previous play.

Head coach Brian Daboll has been a major source of motivation for New York. He has inspired confidence within the team which has allowed them to play good football this season.

Of most importance was New York’s performance in the fourth quarter. Not only did the offense excel but the defense was incredible. Just in the last four minutes of the fourth quarter New York forced two turnovers.

A standout player in the fourth was Kayvon Thibodeaux. He stripped Lamar Jackson to secure his first NFL sack and lead the team to the win.

If you didn’t believe in the Giants going into this season, best believe they are on a comeback. With their best start since 2009, it looks like New York is stepping up their game.
