Lost Cause?

This season has been very up and down for the Washington Commanders. The season started off well with a win against Arizona and Denver while also even saw them in a close game against a super bowl contender in the Philadelphia Eagles. Things have not been smooth sailing for the Commanders as of late losing to the Giants who were beat up with injuries all over the place while also starting second string quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Not only did they lose to the 1-5 Giants but they also put up 7 total points the whole game. Things in Washington have sort of fallen apart and do not seem to be looking bright. One thing that should be stated is that their high first round pick Immanuel Forbes has been benched for his bad play. Forbes has not made the impact that the organization was hoping for to start off his career. To go along with that there has been lots of trade rumors that have centered the franchise about their top two pass rushers in Chase Young and Montez Sweat. Teams have been calling for the two young pass rushers as the trade deadline is on Halloween this year and I would have to imagine if they fall short against the Eagles coming up a fire sale will be on for the Commanders. After the loss to New York last week Jonathan Allen expressed his displeasure to the media with how the team has played during his whole tenure with the team. The question now is does head coach Ron Rivera still have the locker room with all the trade rumors and a captain showing frustration to the media?
