K.J Osborn’s Strong Start

Following two last second losses to the start the season, K.J. Osborn has been a bright spot for the Minnesota Vikings. K.J. Osborn has cemented himself as the third receiver behind Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson. Osborn has been targeted 15 times by Kirk Cousins in the first two games, which is only one behind Thielen and four behind Jefferson. Osborn showcased his speed while running down the sideline on his first touchdown of the season going for 64 yards.

The Minnesota Vikings has been looking for a reliable and productive third receiver for a few years now and seeing Osborn grab hold of this opportunity is impressive to watch. It is only two games into the season but if he can keep making plays and maintain the trust he has with Kirk Cousins, Osborn could be a very important piece in the push for the playoffs.

Although Osborn was able to make it into the end zone against the Arizona Cardinals, the first game against the Cincinnati Bengals was the more impressive of the two. With seven receptions, and 76 receiving yards he looked ready for his opportunity and did not disappoint.

Osborn will look to continue his strong start during Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks who come to Minneapolis where the crowd will be ready.
