Josh JACOBS BEATS SEATTLE IN OVERTIME WITH AN 86-yd Game Winner

Jacobs had a franchise-leading 229 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. The offense clicked on all cylinders with a 40-point game and ended the game in Overtime.

Jacobs had the game of his life to cap off an already fantastic season. With yesterday’s game this places him 1st in Rushing yds throughout the NFL. A supremely bright spot in what has been a disappointing season.

Jacobs has promptly put himself in the conversation of one of the best, if not the best RB in the NFL. “He's the first player since at least 1950 with at least 225 yards rushing and 70 yards receiving in the same game.” (ESPN) The game he had was not only monumental for his career, but for the Raiders. It reminds the league how potent the weapons on this team can be.

Despite the results of this season, the offense is still able to perform at a high level. Derek Carr added 3 touchdowns passing for 295 yards with a QBR rating of 78. In almost every metric the Raiders are top 10 offensively.

Sunday, players in Adams, Jacobs, and Hollins all caught for over 50 yards, 74,74, and 63 yards respectively. The defense allowed 34 points in the game, but Max Crosby was positive all game and Chandler jones even managed to make a late game play in a fumble recovery. All in all, this was a win on all fronts for the Raiders.
