Joe Burrow Out for Several Weeks
Cincinnati, Ohio (PSF) - Cincinnati Bengals franchise quarterback Joe Burrow was carted off the field in the opening week of training camp with a lower body injury. It was a non-contact injury that occurred on the field during drills. The good news for Bengals fans is that Burrow will not miss too much time and could possibly be back for the first week.
It was a scary sight for Bengals fans during Thursday’s practice during the first week of training camp. Burrow has grown to become one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL during his tenure with the Bengals. At the end of the week it may seem that Joe Burrow will only be kept away for all three of the upcoming preseason games.
It was later revealed that Burrow suffered a calf strain during practice which is positive news considering that the injury looked more severe than it was.
