Jets vs Giants Preview

The Giants and Jets come into the battle of New York in surprising places as the Giants are coming off a season where they won a playoff game and are now a two-win team in last place in their division. The Jets, on the other hand, thought Aaron Rodgers would be their Quarterback, but they turned back to Zach Wilson and still look potent to make a run at a wild card toward the end of the season with an elite defense and Zach Wilson playing mistake-free football.

Jets Feed the playmakers

The Jets need to pound the rock with Breece Hall, as he has continued to show he is back and is locked in. Brecce Hall has been playing at a very high level, as in the last two games, he has gone for over 80 scrimmage yards in both of the previous two games. Garrett Wilson is another offensive player the Jets need to focus on, as the game plan has been to run creative offensive plays and get the ball to your playmakers; these two are why the Jets are so dangerous on the offensive side of the ball. The Jets defense is one of the best in the league, and they get better as the game goes on because of their depth on that side. Running back Saquon Barkley creates a problem for any defense, especially when he has it going like he did last week against the Commanders, going for 118 scrimmage yards with a touchdown, the Jets have to keep him in check for their best chance to win.

Giants defense stepping up

The Giants got out of their rut and pulled off a scrappy win against division rival the Washington Commanders. The Giants need to continue to play that kind of defense they have played in the last two weeks, allowing less than 17 points in both games the Giants have played excellent pass defense and contained the run, which will be really important as the Jets rely on Breece Hall for a lot.

Prediction

This will be a fun, competitive game. Still, in the end, the Jets will overcome the Giants 20-10 as it will be a game decided by the Jets playmakers Wilson and Breece Hall, deciding the game and helping the Jets improve to 4-3 on the season and continue their fight for a playoff spot. At the same time, Giants fans look at April's mock drafts.
