Jaguars vs Falcons Preview
preview
The Atlanta Falcons (2-1) travel to London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2), with both teams looking to rebound, both coming off of a tough loss. The Jaguars will look to the offense to rebound off a terrible performance against the Houston Texans in which they couldn’t score a single touchdown. Trevor Lawrence and Calvin Ridley will look to get back on the right track in a game where Calvin Ridley is facing his former team and will look to make them regret moving on from him. The Falcons are a young team that, you know what you are getting a heavy dose of the run with the two-headed monster of running backs Tyler Allgeier and rookie Bijan Robinson defensively, they are a tough team as free agent signing safety Jessie Bates came in right away and made a huge impact on the team.
Prediction
The first of the London games should be a good one as both teams would love to have this game but I think this is a get-right spot for the Jaguars as they need to reestablish the fact the AFC South is their division, and they have a chance to be serious contenders going into late December and January. I expect Bijan to have a big game as he can be used in both the run game and pass game, but I think the Jaguars come out and win this game 24-14 with a huge game from Calvin Ridley in his first game against his former team, leading the charge in a big win for the Jaguars.
