The much-anticipated rematch of last year’s divisional playoff played out much differently than most people thought it would be, as it turned out to be a low-scoring affair where both teams struggled to get the ball in the endzone.

Welcome back, Travis and Chris Jones

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes got back his safety blanket, and boy, did he come in handy. Travis Kelce comes back and immediately has an impact as he scores his first touchdown of the season. Travis Kelce's return not only helped Mahomes but also opened up the game for the wide receivers, as Skyy Moore looked ten times the player he did in week one, rebounding with 70 yards receiving with a touchdown. Kadarius Toney showed up after dropping multiple passes, catching five balls with 35 yards receiving. Chris Jones came back and looked great, playing 34 snaps the star linemen had five pressures, was able to get a sack, and wracked the Jaguars’ offensive line all game. We are still waiting for the Chiefs offense to explode it makes you wonder how much the offense misses former Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy, who has turned the Commanders around generating 27.5 points per game while the Chiefs are only generating 18.5 points per game with an offense that at some points looks lackluster on the field and you wonder if Mahomes magic can save them this season. The Chiefs get a chance to improve against the Chicago Bears who are struggling and should be a good game to get this offense back on track.

Jaguars offensive struggle

In a game many expected the Jags would be able to put up points, the offense put up a stinker, unable to capitalize on multiple trips to the red zone, and the offense looked stale and had a tough game all around.

The Jaguars will look to rebound offensively in a big way against a Houston Texans team that has allowed over 24 points in the first two games of the season. The Jags should use this game to wake up offensively, look more fluid, and finish drives in the red zone instead of settling for field goals.
