Jacksonville, FL (PSF) - The Jacksonville Jaguars and tight end Evan Engram have reached an agreement to a three-year contract.

On Monday, the team announced they would be giving the tight end a long-term agreement after putting Engram on the franchise tag this offseason.

The terms are not confirmed, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter was told by a source that the deal is worth around 41.25 million dollars that includes a guaranteed amount of 24 million dollars.

Engram was able to have a career renaissance this past season with the Jaguars. After struggling for a few years with the Giants, Engram stated he needed a fresh start and signed with the Jaguars in the offseason on a one-year deal.

Engram broke both receptions and receiving yards franchise records for the Jaguars last season passing the records set by Kyle Brady back in the 2000 season.

Engram became one of the key components in Trevor Lawrence’s breakout year becoming one of his safety blankets throughout the year.
