Is Rhamondre Stevenson the Most Underrated Running Back Right Now?

Foxborough, Massachusetts (PSF) - New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is about to enter his third year in the NFL as a member of the Pats. Stevenson is coming off a year where he ended up rushing for over 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career and now here he is to have a breakout season now that Damien Harris is now a member of the Buffalo Bills.

The third year running back out of Oklahoma is ready to show New England and their fanbase what he has got in plan for the 2023 season. Even though the Patriots had considerably one of the worst offensive lines of the 2022 season, Stevenson was still able to run for a total 1,040 yards and five touchdowns, the first Patriot to run for 1,000 yards since LeGarrette Blount. Only the sixth Patriots running back since 2001 to hit that mark. Stevenson improved his rushing stats by 434 yards from his rookie year to his second year in the NFL behind a much worse offensive line.

To say that is not much is insane considering the circumstances that Stevenson was going through during this year. There has not been a lot of talks about Rhamondre Stevenson during the offseason and fans are wondering why that is the case. Could it be that Stevenson was playing in an awful New England offense? What could we see now from the former Oklahoma Sooner going into the 2023 campaign?
