Is Ceedee Lamb a True Number 1 Receiver?
During a recent episode of Undisputed, former All-Pro and future Hall of Fame cornerback Richard Sherman was asked by Skip Bayless if Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was a true number 1 NFL receiver. Sherman answered by saying “If you think he’s a bona fide number 1, then yeah, that’s overrated.”
Lamb’s production has slightly dipped from last season’s production as he is averaging 71 yards per game compared to last year’s career high 80 yards per game. Not only has his production dipped a little bit, but he has seemed frustrated with how things have been going after their 42-10 loss to the 49ers. Lamb didn’t get the volume that he would like to see and quarterback Dak Prescott struggled mightily throwing 3 interceptions making this the worst game of the season so far.
Prescott also went up to Lamb to let him know that he should come to him directly about frustrations instead of letting things get out to the media. Dallas will be on the road for their next game as they take on the Charger who are allowing just about 300 passing yards per game to opponents. Prescott and Lamb look to get things back on a roll to keep up with the division leaders Philadelphia keep winning.
