Is Bijan Robinson Worth Drafting in the Top 10?
The junior running back Bijan Robinson is one of the most talented, if not the most talented players going into the NFL Draft. It is still currently a mystery where Bijan will land in the draft. Many mock drafts have him going top ten while there are others who believe he can fall into the hands of a Super Bowl contender.
The star out of the University of Texas had an amazing career in college behind sophomore quarterback Quinn Ewers with over 1,500 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns during his final year at The University of Texas. While Texas did not have the best of years under head coach Steve Sarkisian, Bijan Robinson found many ways to get into the endzone for the Longhorns.
While the league has slowly gone away from having the running back spot be the one of the most important positions on the field, it is still great to have a running back on the team that can help stretch the field and Bijan is one of those players. The real debate that is still going on is that should a running back be worth a first round pick or no? Bijan Robinson could be the first Texas Longhorns running back to be drafted in the first round since Cedric Benson, and the first Longhorn to go in the first round since Malcolm Brown.
