Hurts and Brown: The New Dynamic Duo?
In the Eagles’ opener against the Detroit Lions, fans got to see something they were beyond excited for.
AJ Brown.
When the signing of Brown happened, fans were extastic and knew he was exactly what the Eagles’ needed to boost their offense and give them an elite receiving corps.
We got a major glimpse of that in this game. Hurts and Brown showed that their off-field chemistry directly translates to their on-field chemistry.
Brown was the number one receiver on the team and was by far the favorite target for Hurts. Brown had 10 receptions for 155 yards, with his longest reception being 54 yards. For that being your first game of the season, with a brand new team, it is clear that there is definitely a connection brewing between Brown and his quarterback.
Brown fought hard, showed fans exactly what he is capable of, and provided Jalen Hurts with a safety net at the receiver position. The only downside to that is now fans are going to have very high expectations for this duo every week that they will have to live up to. However, this duo is one that goes way back and is more dynamic than most considering their offseason workouts together. Week one provided us with a good insight of what is to come for this dynamic duo.
