The Las Vegas Raiders season continues to collapse to the point of no return after losing this past Sunday to the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 25-20. What could be more humiliating than tanking so hard against a team led by someone with zero NFL coaching experience. This was a new low point for the silver and black. 

McDaniels has now lost 24 of his last 31 games as a coach in the NFL. A losing streak is one thing, but in this case it is evident that McDaniels is not able to rally a football team to victory. Back in 2009, McDaniels was named the Head Coach of the Denver Broncos but was unable to manage the team effectively. This was certainly the case with Brandon Marshall. Marshall was so against McDaniels the team voted him out, leading to a nervous breakdown by McDaniels and never returning to the Broncos. This scenario seems to be repeating itself over again from Denver to Las Vegas. 

It seems McDaniels has lossed the support of his star players and has also lossed the respect of almost everyone in the stadium. Derek Carr and Devante Adams have both acknowledged in interviews the disconnect that many players are feeling. Both of the players are quoted as saying that they wish everyone felt the same way they do and were giving 100%, because it’s obvious to them that some players have checked out on McDaniels. 

Despite all this evidence that the coaching system is not working, Raiders owner Mark Davis has publicly announced his continued support for McDaniels and expects him to fulfill his contract. In fact, Davis expressed his opinion that McDaniels is doing a fantastic job. Talk about a disconnect…
