Former Vikings RB Dalvin Cook Seeking “Huge Contract”
According to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, former Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is reportedly looking for a “significant contract” in free agency with the expectation that Cook won’t sign a contract ranging from $4-5 million like other free agent running backs have gotten.
Cook, who was officially released on Friday coming off an underwhelming but Pro-Bowl season nonetheless, has reportedly received interest from both the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins as well as several other teams with many reporters heavily linking the South Florida native to his hometown team.
With other top running backs such as Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs having yet to sign their tenders, the running back market may start to become more open throughout the coming weeks.
