Kareem Jackson suspended 4 games for violating unnecessary roughness rules
Kareem Jackson is #22 a safety for the Denver Broncos has always been known for his “dirty hits”. This season has been up and down for him being ejected two times this year for helmet to helmet hits. Jackson was previously ejected in week 2 against the Washington Commanders for a helmet to helmet hit to Jordan Thomas.
Although this was his second time getting ejected this season, he's been fined for violating unnecessary roughness four times just this season, most likely five after this hit on Packers tight end Luke Musgrave. Totaling over $89,000 in fines just this season.
As they are trying to crack down on these big hits, what do you think is next for Kareem Jackson?, the NFL could ban him and it has been expressed by lots of NFL fans. Jackson has been a vital part of this Denver secondary and it is gonna be a big loss without him for 4 games after a hard fought win to get the Broncos (2-5) to try and get them back on track.
Payton gave his little insight on the situation, "I don't have an answer for you," Payton said. "Those things happen so quickly and, from my vantage point, you just get to see it one time. You look up. They make the call, and you have to go with it."
We will see how Denver moves forward for these games without him and maybe even looking into a new safety for the future of this team.
