Brian Schottenheimer to become New dallas Offensive Coordinator
Dallas, Texas (PSF) — After the Dallas Cowboys announced they have mutually parted ways with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, Dallas announced on Saturday that coaching analyst Brain Schottenheimer has been promoted to offensive coordinator. After less than one year with the Dallas organization, the front office believes that Scottenheimer is best fit for running the Cowboys offense.
This is not Schottenheimer’s first rodeo as an offensive coordinator, as his first stint at the position was with the New York Jets from 2006-2011. After leaving New York, Schottenheimer decided to take the same role, this time with the St. Louis Rams. Schottenheimer stayed in St. Louis for two years, but ultimately left to become the OC for the Georgia Bulldogs.
