The Steelers entered Sunday's matchup coming off a 41-37 Sunday Night loss against the Los Angles Chargers. Sunday the Steelers got back several of their star players that sat out last week's most notable linebacker T.J. Watt and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. Even with the return of their star players it still wasn't enough to stop the Bengals offense. On the opening drive, the Bengals drove down the field in eleven players finishing with an eight-yard touchdown run by quarterback Joe Burrow.

Joe Burrow finished Sunday's game with 20 for 24 for 190 yards and a touchdown. After coming off a bumpy 123-yard and two touchdown performances against the Las Vegas Raiders. Joe Mixon had a career-high game rushing for 165-yard and two touchdowns Sunday. Tee Higgins Finished the game with six receptions for 114-yards and a touchdown.

Former Pittsburgh corner Mike Hilton picked off quarterback Ben Roethlisberger late in the first half to put the Bengals up 31-3. Hilton jumped James Washington's route and returned it for 24-yards with only 30 seconds left in the first half. Hilton spent the first four years of his career with the Steelers than was released over the summer. Hilton signed with Cincinnati as a free agent.

"Beating these guys, for me twice and for some of those other guys three times straight, is a big change of the guard in our opinion. It's given us a lot of confidence, and guys are excited to see how the rest of the season plays out."

"We've got a lot of work in front of us," started Steelers coach Mike Tomlin after Sunday's game "We make no excuses. We see no comfort. It is what it is-we stunk it up today."

The Steelers offense was only able to score 3 points in the first half. Ben Roethlisberger finished the game 24-41, 263 yards, 2 interceptions, and 1 touchdown. Ben hit rookie tight end, Pat Freiermuth, for a 15-yard pass for his only touchdown after the game has been decided.

Overall: The Pittsburgh Steelers are no longer feared in the AFC North. The defense is no longer a top 10 defense. The secondary is having trouble covering receivers and making tackles. The front seven is dealing with too many injures noticeably in the defensive tackle spot. The offense must set the tune to get the defense fired up. As a Steelers fan, I think we should focus on just making the playoffs instead of winning the north. If we keep this up we may not even make the playoffs.
