Indianapolis Colts 31, Tennessee Titans 28

The Indianapolis Colts hung on in overtime to beat their division rivals, the Tennessee Titans. It was a close game from start to finish with many lead changes, but the game changers were the Colts’ special teams performance. The special teams had one blocked punt returned for a touchdown and another fumbled punt recovered by the Colts as well.

With 2:31 left in overtime, quarterback Gardner Minshew threw his third touchdown of the game to wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to finish the game out for the Colts. They are now 7-5 and 6th in the AFC playoff picture. Next week they will face the Cincinnati Bengals away which should be a good win for the Colts with QB Joe Burrow out for the remainder of the season. 

Running back Derrick Henry was a game-changer for them this week and looked like his vintage self with 21 carries, 102 yards, and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, he was taken out of the game in the middle of the second half due to concussion protocol and never returned.

With their loss this week, they fall to 4-8 and are last in the AFC South. They will have a tough game in Miami next week against the AFC East leader, Miami Dolphins. 

Houston Texans 22, Denver Broncos 17

The Houston Texans had another great weekend with a win against the Denver Broncos who were on a 5 game winning streak. CJ Stroud had another great game to add to the many he has had this year with 274 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Nico Collins had an outstanding day with 191 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, WR Tank Dell, their outstanding rookie, was carted off the field with a leg injury and has been ruled out for the rest of the season. This is a major hit to the team without Dell out on the field. They are 7-5 on the season with a game against the New York Jets coming up next week where they hope to win and get a playoff spot. 

Jacksonville Jaguars v Cincinnati Bengals, Monday Night Football

The Jaguars are set to play tonight on Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Jaguars are projected to win this game by a large margin because of the loss of Joe Burrow. They lead the AFC South at an impressive record of 8-3 and look to improve that record tonight.
