A Possible NFC North Championship Game
We all witnessed the Green Bay Packers put on a clinic against the Dallas Cowboys. Along with their win, the Detroit Lions beat the Los Angeles Rams to end their playoff drought. With both teams making it to the Divisional Round, there is a chance for Detroit to host the Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

On Sunday afternoon, Jordan Love and the Packers dominated the Cowboy’s defense. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys made mistake after mistake and found themselves trailing 27-7 at the half. Green Bay had a game plan and they executed it perfectly. The Packers were not expected to make it to the playoffs, and Dallas was under a ton of pressure to at least make it to the NFC Championship Game. This allowed Green Bay to play loose, and it had quarterback Jordan Love making huge plays, along with running back Aaron Jones putting up two touchdowns in the first half.

Looking at Detroit, they had a ton of pressure to win their first home playoff game in 32 years. They were going up against their old quarterback Matthew Stafford and a hot Rams team. Once they crossed that bridge and won the game, all Lions fans could take a deep breath. Looking at their divisional round matchup, they will play a team they already faced in Week 6 of the regular season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With a win, they will find themselves in the NFC Championship Game.

Green Bay will face one of the most talented teams in the league, the San Francisco 49ers. With the 49ers having a bye week as the top seed in the NFC, they will be healthy and ready to go with a strong game plan from head coach Kyle Shanahan. The Packers will have a tough time stopping players like RB Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Deebo Samuel. After watching Love and the Packers’ offense flourish, anything is possible against the 49ers.

It sounds like a long shot, but if Detroit and Green Bay both win their Divisional Round games next week, they will find themselves as the last two teams in the NFC fighting for the Conference to head to the Super Bowl.
