5 Teams with the toughest Schedules
The NFL schedule is finally here and many teams are thankful for their schedule while others not so much. Here we will be showing the toughest schedules for the 2023 NFL Season.
1.Philadelphia Eagles
It seemed quite fitting for the Eagles to have the toughest schedule in the entire NFL. With a combined win percentage of .566, Philly will now have to prove themselves of being a playoff contender after a very easy schedule in 2022. Notable teams the Eagles play include: Kansas City, Buffalo, San Francisco, Dallas twice and the Giants twice. Will the Eagles return to the Super Bowl? That is the big debate this upcoming year.
2. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are in a tough division with teams such as the Bills and the Jets and playing both those two teams twice this year is difficult enough. The other part that makes this difficult is playing the NFC East and AFC West. Teams like Kansas City, Philadelphia and Dallas are some of those examples. Dolphins strength of schedule is at a .554
3. New England Patriots
Patriots are already digging their grave going into the 2023 season. Already in a tough division in the AFC East playing Buffalo, Miami and the Jets twice a year is hard enough, same thing with Miami where the Patriots are playing the AFC West as well as the NFC East. New England is also losing that extra home game due to a game in Germany to play the Indianapolis Colts. With a .549 strength of schedule, New England might be in for a long season.
4. Dallas Cowboys
Dallas begins the NFL Season with a bang playing against rivals, New York Giants. Not making things easy to start for Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. What makes this schedule more difficult is playing Philly twice as well as New York twice. Seattle and San Francisco makes things a little more difficult as well. Can the Cowboys make some noise going into the 2023 season, only time will tell.
5. New York Giants
The New York Football Giants have the same strength of schedule at .449. There are still many questions going into next year with the New York Giants. Was Daniel Jones Overpaid? Will the Giants be able to afford Saquon Barkley or will they trade him during the year. While this does not look like a tough schedule from the start, remember this. New York is already playing Dallas and Philly twice during the year as well as the NFC West. The Seahawks and 49ers will be competitive with New York, however the Rams could make a comeback year after missing the playoffs last year. New Yorkβs easiest opponent this year is Arizona who will likely have Kyler Murray returning from injury by the time they play each other.
