5 Teams With the Easiest Schedule

The 2023 NFL season is coming fast and there are teams who may seem relieved with who they are playing. Here are the five NFL teams with the easiest schedules going into the 2023 season.

  1. Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta should be relieved with having the easiest schedule in the entire NFL. Falcons have a young core on both offense and defense and it is likely that this can help out the team. The entire NFC South is easily the worst division in the entire NFL, with the Falcons having the best chance to win the division after the Buccaneers lost Tom Brady due to his retirement back in February.

2. New Orleans Saints

Saints can easily get back to winning the NFC South with how awful the division is. After signing Derek Carr to a huge deal in the offseason. The Saints are ready to work and become a playoff contender next season. The Saints strength of schedule is a low .427 with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants being two of the toughest opponents the Saint will go up against.

3. Houston Texans

Texans are trying to win now! This is absolutely the time to do it. After sending the 2024 first round pick over to the Arizona Cardinals to trade up to draft Will Anderson out of Alabama, the Texans front office has shown that they are ready to win now. CJ Stroud will be expected to be the starting quarterback going into week 1. With the whole AFC already a mess. The Texans can manage to squeeze into a wild card spot and make some noise going into the season. The only team that is making that season difficult is the Jacksonville Jaguars.

4. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are currently not going to be a playoff contender by any means, however this does not mean that they will have an awful season. With Anthony Richardson expected to be the starting quarterback for week 1. The two toughest teams the Colts should be concerned about are the Jacksonville Jaguars who they play twice in the AFC South and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Colts have plenty of winnable games this year. The question is can they capitalize on them?

5. Tennessee Titans

The Titans are in a weird spot this year in the NFL. Having three possible starting quarterbacks for week 1, Ryan Tannehill, Malik Willis and 2nd round pick Will Levis. The schedule could save them from being one of the worst teams in the NFL this year. Titans could really struggle against the AFC South as well as the Baltimore Ravens and the Bengals. While the majority of the schedule is winnable, and the division starting to be owned by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans could be in for a long season in 2023.
