Los Angeles, California (PSF) - The University of Southern California has announced that Jennifer Cohen will be the school’s new athletic director today, becoming the first female athletic director in USC history.

Cohen will be tasked with guiding the Trojans through their transition to the Big Ten Conference in 2024-25. Cohen was the AD at Washington since 2016 and secured the program a spot in the Big Ten shortly before her departure.

Cohen will take over for former AD Mike Bohn, who resigned in May citing health reasons. Later, a Los Angeles Times report emerged that Bohn had cultivated a hostile and unprofessional work environment.

Cohen is a member of the College Football Playoff Committee and is one of the most respected athletic directors in the profession.
