Ole Miss Recruiting Class of 2024 Changes
Oxford, Mississippi (PSF) - Despite the recent recruiting loss of offensive tackle Jac’Qawn McRoy to the Oregon Ducks, the Ole Miss Rebels still have a strong recruiting class for 2024. According to the 24/7 Sports composite rankings, the Rebels currently hold the No. 19 class in the country.
While McRoy chose Oregon, Ole Miss has had success in recruiting offensive linemen. They have secured commitments from four players in the trenches, including interior offense lineman Willian Echoles. The Rebels are also expecting to add three-star offensive tackles John Wayne Oliver and Jude Foster, as well as interior offensive lineman Joseph Cryer.
In June, Ole Miss experienced significant success on the recruiting trail, gaining nine commitments out of their total 17 for the class. Along with the offensive line commitments, the Rebels landed safeties Travaris Banks, Andy Jaffe, and Shamaar Darden. Additionally, Ole Miss was also able to get athletes Anthony Robinson III and Cameron Clark, as well as cornerback Bernard Causey.
Overall, despite the loss of McRoy, the Ole Miss recruiting class remains strong, and the team is looking to continue their positive momentum as they move forward.
