Columbus, OH (PSF) - Ohio State and Notre Dame are two of the most storied teams in college football history. The neighboring teams have only played seven games against each other. When they play Saturday on Notre Dame turf, that will be their eighth encounter. Although the matchups have been few, they have been unforgettable.
Ohio State’s last matchup against Notre Dame in 2022 led to the defeat of Marcus Freeman, head coach of Notre Dame, and the Fighting Irish at the Ohio Stadium, with the score being 21-10.

How Notre Dame is approaching the game
Despite the Ohio State and Notre Dame matchup in 2022, this year is looking different. Notre Dame seems to be a much better opponent than last year. Ohio State just recently named Kyle McCord as the starting QB, will this transition still take Ohio State some time to adjust?
Al Golden, Notre Dame’s defensive coordinator, sees this upcoming game as a “good challenge” for his defense. Golden mentions that Ohio State has been recognized for its offensive line “as good of any group we’ve seen” and their running backs to be a group of “talented guys”.

The Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC. The game will be available to stream on any platform that offers NBC, including YouTube TV, Hulu Live, Peacock, and Fubo TV.
