Georgia Is The Big Dawg

Sanford Stadium, Athens - The most important matchup of the SEC East took place last Saturday, as the #3 Georgia Bulldogs went up against the #1 Tennessee Volunteers.

Going into the game, both Georgia and Tennessee were undefeated with records of 8-0 for the season. The game was vital as it was a testament to see who truly runs the SEC East and who would safely secure a playoff spot on the berth of post-season play. It was Georgia who came out on top.

This wasn’t such a surprise as Georgia has won five of the last games played against Tennessee. The Vols were looking to give the Dawgs their first loss since 2020 but were not successful.

The Dawgs not only won, but they did so by a larger margin than expected. With a 27-13 win, Georgia proved their absolute dominance. After the showdown, who’s to say that Georgia is not the best team in college football?

With three games left in the season, the Dawgs are in the driver’s seat, taking it upon themselves to ensure their return to the CFB playoffs.

So how did Georgia do it? Against the Vols, that question is easy. Their defense.

The Dawgs managed to sack Volunteer’s quarterback, Hendon Hooker, six times. On top of this, Georgia was able to shut down Tennessee’s normally impressive offense. They were able to keep them at a low, 3.9 yards per play.

On the offensive side of the ball, none other than Stetson Bennett assisted with all three Georgia touchdowns.

Georgia managed to secure three touchdowns; while Tennessee struggled to find just one and didn’t get one until the fourth quarter.

The score does not accurately present how Georgia dominated the game.

Not only is Georgia’s game elite, but so is their player’s attitude towards their University. It is this that has united their talent with their coaching staff that has kept them undefeated for almost two calendar years, and in the lead in the SEC East for the season.

A bunch of kids love this place. We took zero out of the portal. They all love it here.
