Who Should The Boston Celtics Sign With Their Remaining Roster Spots

The Boston Celtics currently have two open roster spots after waiving, Justin Champaginie.

There are many free agents ready to sign and show that they belong in the league.

First on the list of potential players is:

Demarcus Cousins

We all know Demarcus Cousins and the lethal scorer he used to be and the defensive presence he brings to the table. In the last season that Cousins played in the league, he averaged 8.9 points per game (PPG) and 5.5 rebounds per game (RPG). Cousins brings in a veteran presence on the team and has been balling out in Puerto Rico in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional league on the Mets De Guaynabo, and averaged 19.0 PPG per game.

Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin is one of the greatest power forwards from this past decade. Griffin was able to play for the Boston Celtics this past season and showed he still has gas left in the tank despite the injuries that had taken a toll on his play. Griffin averaged 4.1 PPG and 3.8 RPG. This past season Griffin was able to bring a veteran presence to the team, and his play consisted of hustle and offensive play. There has been news that the Celtics and Griffins team has been in contact to figure out a way to bring him back to Boston.

Hamidou Diallo

Diallo is one of the most underrated forwards in the NBA. Diallo has played both in Oklahoma City and Detroit. During his years with the Thunder and the Pistons, Diallo averaged around 12 PPG each season. However, this past season Diallo averaged 9.3 PPG, but Diallo brings in the hustle, the ability to drive, and the defensive presence.
