What a game! ARe the Sacramento Kings a team to be worried about in the West?
In my 23 years being on this Earth I’ve never seen a game this big in my life! Friday we witnessed arguably the best game in recent years and one of the biggest. The Sacramento Kings defeated the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 176-175. On record this is the second highest scoring game in NBA history and no one saw this coming.
This game could also likely give us a matchup that we could see in the playoffs by two really good teams. To me the more surprising team not only for this game but for the entire season is the Sacramento Kings. I said before the season that the Kings will be the sleeper team this year and this game proves my prediction was right.
This game alone you had three guys who scored more than 40 points with two of the players on the Kings. De’Aaron Fox scored 42, Malik Monk scored 45, and Kawhi Leonard scored 44. To have this type of productivity in a NBA game is absolutely outstanding and even though the game is set to help the offense we’ve never see a game this high scoring ever.
After this game, I’m already predicting that the Kings will be the team to watch out for in the playoffs. After this win and there current win today against the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-115 the Kings are the 3rd team is the Western Conference with a 35-25 record.
The Clippers are not that far off from the Kings with them being number 5 with a 33-29 record. Things are really heating up in the Western Conference and literally any of the teams could jump high in the standings and even drop down in the standings. To sum it up, every game and every win counts.
