Thompson with Impressive Last Second Jump shot to Secure another Win for the Warriors
In an intense matchup this past Wednesday, The Golden State Warriors narrowly defeated the Sacramento Kings with a final score of 102-101. The fourth quarter was a closely contested battle, but Klay Thompson ultimately sealed the victory for the Warriors with a game-winning jump shot in the final 0.2 seconds of the game. This triumph marked the Warriors fourth consecutive win.
Despite their victory, the Warriors didn't perform at their best, committing a total of eighteen turnovers and connecting on only 11 of their 31 three point attempts. Curry had an impressive individual performance, combining five rebounds, three assists and twenty-one points to the game, but did have a significant role in contributing to the team’s eighteen turnover count. Curry also became the first player in NBA history to achieve a streak of 250 consecutive regular seasons with a three pointer made.
Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins teamed up to secure the Warriors’ first ten points of the game.
With this win, the Warriors improved their record to 4-1 while the Kings fell 2-2.
Looking ahead, the Warriors are set to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night as they aim to extend their winning streak and reach a record of 5-1.
