The Warriors are all the Way Back.

After three very convincing wins, I think it’s finally time we can dub this Warriors team as back in the hunt for a championship. With the meteoric rise of Jordan Poole, combined with Klay finding his rhythm on both ends of the floor and Steph and Dray getting back to what they do best, this Warriors team has a chance in the West.
Last night the Warriors were the third team to complete something of a fourth quarter comeback, and not only did they comeback to win a game away from home, but they also took a commanding 3-0 series lead against reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and his Nuggets. (Note: Jokic should be fuming after dropping 37-18-5 in a loss). Nonetheless, this win by Golden State should put the Western Conference and the league on notice.
And now that two of the NBA’s strongest championship contenders took big hits after this week’s injury bug, caught by both Suns guard Devin Booker and Bucks forward Khris Middleton, there are some questions about who will be in the hunt for the Larry O’Brien come June. The Warriors are a team trending incredibly up towards that goal, they have all the pieces for a run and now that the West’s best team will potentially be without their best player, the time is right for the taking.
The Warriors have built themselves for this time, they are a team led by prolific scorers in Curry and Poole (Yes, all of us are wondering why he fell to the 28th pick in 2019) they have great experienced multi-position defenders in Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Andre Iguodala, and most importantly, they trust each other. Championships in this league are won by qualities like trust, and the Warriors are led by the coach who knows all about playing with trust and has ingrained it in every Warriors squad he’s coached.
It has already been one of the most fun and intriguing playoffs to watch and a redemption story for Golden State would only add to those feelings, the only question that remains is can they avoid the injury bug?
