A few of the underrated moves from free agency:

  • George Niang to the Cleveland Cavaliers on a three-year $26 Million. The Cavs need help with shooting alongside getting Max Struss as well.

  • Seth Curry going back to the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs need shooting, and that is a fit for Curry.

  • The Brooklyn Nets' moves were all great. Whether they get Lillard or not, resigning Cam Johnson, a two-way player that’s developing, Dennis Smith Jr., a good defensive wing who can shoot and had one of his best seasons last year, and Lonnie Walker IV, who has some offense versatility.

  • Cory Joseph to the Warriors brings some veteran leadership in the locker room and someone who can penetrate the defense and get in the lane.

  • Thomas Bryant to the Miami Heat, who need a backup big behind Bam. Bryant shows he can provide some offensive firepower, be mobile on the boards, and play defense.

  • Jevon Carter to the Chicago Bulls, who need a guard with Lonzo Ball most likely missing another season. Carter, who is a great defender and can shoot the three. Ball is much needed for the Bulls.

  • Monte Morris to the Detroit Pistons, who have been looking for some veterans at the guard position and someone who can space the floor, and having someone who can catch and shoot is what Morris can provide.
