The Best Moves From the Boston Celtics This Offseason

The NBA offseason is almost over and the preseason is getting closer, which means it’s time to look back at the moves that the Celtics had made so far in this offseason.

The biggest move so far is extending Jaylen Browns contract to a six year 304 million dollar deal. The contract is the highest paid contract ever for the NBA. Brown has been in Boston the past seven years and has made a huge impact on the city of Boston and the team. Re-signing Brown was Bostons main goal this offseason and the front office accomplished that.

Another big move Boston made was aquiring Kristaps Porzingis in a trade that involved Washington and Memphis. Adding Porzingis to the roster adds a lot more scoring and defense after losing Marcus Smart in the trade, in which Smart ends up in Memphis. Porzingis is an all-star player and has signed a two-year 60 million dollar extension with Boston.
