Celtics looking to ride hot streak
The Boston Celtics have won five out of their last six games and are looking to keep their hot streak alive. During this hot streak, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been absolutely taking over with a little help from a different player each game. The most prevalent player that has been contributing with the two all-stars is Dennis Schroder, who has had two 23-point games in the past couple of games. Even with trade rumors circulating the Celtics, primarily Schroder, it’s interesting to see how he will continue to play in the next couple of games.
Tonight, the Boston Celtics look to stay hot against the young phenom, LaMelo Ball, and his Charlotte Hornets team tonight, at 7:30pm EST. The Celtics (23-22) are currently in the 10th spot in the playoff standings while the Hornets (24-20) sit in 7th. Even with the Celtics being in 10th place, they are only 5.5 games out of first place in a competitive Eastern Conference. Their next couple of games are going to be important in moving up in the standings and with Rob Williams (child birth) and Marcus Smart (health and safety protocols) returning to the lineup soon, they could make a push to crack the top 6, and avoid the play-in games, come play-off time.
