It is now less than a month away from the NBA 2K24 release date, and the ratings are here. Top veterans such as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant are sitting at ratings of 96. Though it could be controversial, it is still not a shocker that those outstanding players are in the high 90s. Powerhouse big men such as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid are also ranked 96 overall. On down the line are skillful forwards and guards like Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, and Jimmy Butler with a rating of 95. While these are great ratings, none are shocking to the average NBA viewer or player of 2K. However, Spurs rookie and standout Victor Wembanyama ranks at 84. This rating puts Victor at a six-point lead over LeBron’s rookie rating. But the Frenchman’s rating is not the only attention grabber. At the absolute peak of the rating; is the Joker, also known as Nikola Jokic. The NBA champion and MVP is sitting at an overall rating of 98. Will the Joker become the next face for 2K?
