Ranking the 2022-23 NBA City Edition Jerseys

The NBA just released new City Edition jerseys for all 32 teams. Here are my top three best and worst jerseys from the 2022-23 collection. Although there is a lot of story behind each jersey, I am strictly going off how the jersey looks.

Best Jerseys

Atlanta Hawks

The peach color just pops off so much from the black. The gradient on the number is also a nice touch. Finally, the font on “Atlanta” fits perfectly with the peach theme.

Washington Wizards

This jersey is just aesthetically pleasing to look at. The cherry blossoms on the side of the jerseys resemble the flowers falling off the trees.

Boston Celtics

The dark green look goes well with the black and gold secondary colors. The cursive font is really clean with this design—also, the diamonds on the side of the jersey cap off this jersey.

Worst Jerseys

Golden State Warriors

Personally, this jersey would not be in this category if it were not for the big flower that is just taking up the bottom half of the jersey.

Minnesota Timberwolves

It just looks plain and boring, and the block of colors on the top of the jersey reminds me of legos. Plus, Timberwolves fans did not seem to like it when it was first leaked.
