5) 2022 Golden State Warriors

The 2022 Golden State Warriors, led by Steph Curry, come in at No. 5 on the list. Curry averaged 31/6/5 against a very good defensive Boston Celtics team. The Celtics' inexperience and the Warriors' experience were the deciding factors in the end. Curry dominated the 2022 Finals, putting all his skills on display despite a lackluster performance from Draymond Green and Klay’s struggles throughout the series. Andrew Wiggins was a difference-maker on both the offensive side of the ball and the defensive side, winning his first NBA championship and helping the Big Three of Curry, Thompson, and Green get their fourth title.

4) 2019 Toronto Raptors

At No. 4 on this list is the 2019 Toronto Raptors, led by Kawhi Leonard. Leonard averaged 28/9/4 against a Warriors team without superstar Kevin Durant most of the series and Thompson getting injured in the second half of a critical Game Six. A good supporting cast surrounded Leonard with players like Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, and Serge Ibaka. The ’19 Raptors also became the first non-U.S. franchise to win an NBA title. Despite this team being overlooked, the Raptors were an excellent team.

3) 2020 Los Angeles Lakers

Led by the Lebron James and Anthony Davis duo, The 2020 Los Angeles Lakers come in at No. 3. James averaged 29/11/8, and Davis averaged 25/10/3 against the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat. The Lakers dominated as they were too much for Butler and company to win the series 4-2 in the bubble.

The No. 2 spot on the list belongs to the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks, who defeated an excellent Phoenix Suns team 4-2 in the Finals. After the first two games, the Bucks were down 2-0, but with performances from Milwaukee’s stars such as Kris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Jrue Holiday, they overcame the deficit. Antetokounmpo averaged 35/13/5 and capped it off with a 50-point performance to close out Game Six, staking his claim as arguably the best player in the NBA. In addition, Middleton averaged 24/6/5, and Holiday averaged 16/6/9.
