Nets vs Sixers: Game 4

Brooklyn, NY (PSF) — Despite no Joel Embiid, the Brooklyn Nets season is over. With one of the most chaotic seasons in franchise history the Nets couldn’t make it work and got swept for the second year in a row.

The Nets spent the series trying to limit Joel Embiid as much as they could. So when Embiid didn’t play game four it seemed like the Nets had it. But like the rest of the Nets games since the trade, the offense fell apart.

The Sixers and Nets seemed to have a brick off in the first half shooting 38% from the floor and 23% from three. The Nets led at the half 48-40 but again, the second half offense bombed again.

In the third quarter the Sixers went on a 14-0 run which began the end of the Nets season. The Sixers never backed down even if there were rough shooting nights from Maxey and Harden. The Nets watched Tobias Harris make shot after shot until the Sixers won 96-88.

The Nets have been swept again, this time with much different circumstances. Nets fans can now hope for the off season and wait for a certain star to sign.
