Nikola Jokic Joins Impressive Company during Thursday Night’s Game
This past week on Thursday night against the Washington Wizards, Nikola Jokic proved why he is known as one of the best.
With a filled stat line of 21 points, 19 rebounds, 15 assists, and a 100% field goal percentage shooting 10-for-10 from the field, Jokic finished the night with his 16th triple-double of this season alone.
Not only does this stat line support the discussion around Jokic being the Most Valuable Player (MVP) this season, but this triple-double makes Jokic the fourth player ever in league history to record a triple-double against all other 29 teams in the NBA.

Sitting with company including Lebron James, Russell Westbrook, and Maurice Strokes, Jokic reflected on the importance of this accomplishment in his post-game press conference; “After I finish my career, it’s a legacy and milestone. I’m going to look back and I’m going to say that’s a really cool thing to do.”
Jokic also became the first player ever in NBA history to shoot 10-for-10 or better from the floor with 15 rebounds and assists. The level at which the center is playing at is unmatched, and proving to be hard to guard.
Additionally, with 121 regular season tripe-doubles through 650 career games, Jokic ranks fourth in NBA history on the all-time list. He sits behind Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, and Westbrook.
Throughout the remainder of the season, it would be no surprise if Jokic were to join another exclusive club, and further showcase his greatness.

After Monday night’s game against the Warriors, Jokic recorded his third triple-double in a sigular week. He is unstoppable.
