The Boston Celtics Should Give Derrick White An Extension
Boston Celtics guard Derrick White is up for an extension once september hits, this is a big move for the Celtics if they are able to pull this off.
Derrick White has been apart of the team for the past two seasons when he was traded for Romeo Langford during the 21-22 season, White plays a huge role coming off the bench and plays with hustle each time on the court.
White mentioned during an interview with Malika Andrews, “I love being here in Boston, it would be cool to get an extension… will see what happens during that window (September).” White is eligible for a three-year extension.
Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla announced that Derrick White will be the starting point guard. White will have a big role to fill after Marcus Smart was traded as part of a three-team trade to Memphis earlier this offseason.
