Porzingis, who plays for the Latvia National Team, has been ruled out due to a “planter fascitis.” This is something to keep an eye out for throughout the upcoming season and training camp. According to the Boston Celtics, Porzingis has to have a four-six week rehab program before training camp.

Porizingis was recently acquired by trade and is a huge move by Boston to get a third star to play alongside Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Porizingis signed a two-year 63 million-dollar extension. What does the injury mean for Boston? Well, there is still a lot of time left for the star to recover before opening night.
