James Harden Sounds Off on Daryl Morey

FoxSports.com

If Philadelphia 76ers fans were holding on to hope that the James Harden era in Philadelphia would end smoothly, the recent comments by Harden have all but put an end to that thought.

β€œI will never be part of an organization that Daryl Morey is a part of.”
— James Harden

Fans of both teams were anticipating a trade that would send the thirty-three-year-old (turns thirty-four on August 26th) Harden to LA as the 76ers were prepared to sign and trade him this off-season. However, when news broke last week that the 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers would no longer be engaging in trade talks for Harden, it came as a surprise to many fans even though there had been no rumors about either side on the discussion of a possible trade in weeks. This is what most fans look at as the reasoning behind the comments that Harden made. Where he called Morey β€œa liar.”

James Harden and Daryl Morey have gone back to Harden’s time in Oklahoma City where he was drafted, and then over to Houston and finally back to Philadelphia. Most fans thought that the two had a good relationship. That all ended Monday morning.
