James Harden was fined $100k for calling Daryl Morey a liar. This is nothing but a comedy to me. How did the NBA even come to this decision considering the numerous challenges this team is facing? First, Ben Simmons' mental health issues have spiraled into a back injury and have kept him out for most of this year. Then Joel Embiid is so injury prone he barely made a solid case for him to win MVP, and now Harden has asked out of his third team in three years.

I’m not saying all of these are Daryl Morey’s fault, however, he is seen as the worst GM in the league because of how he does business. He thought he could get Jarret Allen and Evan Mobley for just Tobias Harris. Who in their right mind would even send a trade like that to an opposing team? It just seems like ever since Morey was hired, there has been bad decision after bad decision.

First, because Adam Silver can’t fine me, Morey is indeed a liar, and I don’t see any star playing for him. I see Embiid asking out of Philly this year before the deadline. I see them trading Tyrese Maxey as well, and doing a complete and utter rebuild. I see Morey being fired for this failed attempt to keep a star next to Embiid. The whole organization in Philadelphia has failed Embiid. Hopefully, he doesn’t stay there any longer than he has to, because at this point it’s a waste of time.
