Is this season Chris Paul’s last chance to win a championship?

Christopher Emmanuel Paul, who is known as CP3 to fans, is in his 17th NBA season and is still looking for that coveted first NBA Championship. As of now, he's only made the Finals one time, and up until now, that was the best chance he ever had to win a title with the Phoenix Suns. That could've been his last chance, with him slowing down due to old age and the rest of the Western Conference getting stronger.

Luckily for him and the entire Suns team, they brought in some help to hopefully win the team and, more importantly, CP3 an NBA championship.

After the trade deadline, his chances to win a title drastically increased when the Phoenix Suns traded for two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant. KD was very disgruntled in Brooklyn and wanted out, so he got his wish and will now be paired with Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton when he returns from injury.

Yes, the Suns did give up Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and four unprotected first rounds picks, but Paul and the Suns are now one of the favorites to make it out of the Western Conference and go to the Finals. So you can say the Suns are in a win-now state to try and get CP3 that championship he always wanted before he eventually retires.

For his entire career, CP3 has been consistent with his playmaking and court awareness which is why he's arguably a top-five point guard in NBA History. However, it's a different story for him once he gets into the playoffs. Many times in his career, he and his team failed to show up and blow it in the playoffs. Since he's turning 38 in May, this could be his final year in the league, and now with Durant, he has a chance to win.

Let's say the Suns do end up winning their first championship this year. Would Chris Paul officially retire and go out as a winner? If the Suns want to win CP3 that title and go out on top, THIS SEASON is their absolute best chance to get the job done.
