Miami’s poor offensive outing lead to a disappointing eighty-eight-point night. Shooting a putrid thirty-six percent from the field, and an even worse twenty-seven percent from three. Cole swindler, a bright spot finished with fourteen points of his own in limited action. All starters finished with under twenty points
The Heat struggled with containing the Pelican’s guards. Jose Alvarado, Cj Mcollum, and Naji Marshall all finished with over fifteen points. They also had an average +\- of twenty. The Pelicans front court on the other hand struggled. A good sign from Miami’s staunch defense. Zion had a poor night, finishing with four points on two for seven shooting. During the Jimmy Butler Era Miami has a defense that allows the three ball. Thus teams with the following personnel can catch fire and beat them. You just tip your hat and keep it moving.
