NETS ON THE VERGE OF GETTIN SWEPT

The Nets are currently down 3-0 against the Boston Celtics and are on the verge of getting swept.

After earning their spot in the playoffs by defeating the Cavaliers in the play-in the Brooklyn Nets would face off against the Boston Celtics. After coming up in their first two games against the Celtics the Nets would return home to the Barclays Arena with hopes to change the series around at home but would once again fall short.

What is going on with the Nets? The Boston Celtics are the #1 Defensive team in the NBA and this series has put the league on notice expressing that they are number one by completing the impossible. The Celtics entered this series motivated to get revenge from this Nets team putting them out of the playoffs in 5 games last year. Their intensity has been very visible since the start of the series. The Celtics have not been only able to contain Kyrie but have been able to completely lock up Kevin Durant, doing what basketball fans around the world felt could never be done.

Celtics have held Kevin Durant to 22 points in this series on 36/40/88 splits with 6 turnovers. Making this series the worst playoffs series of his career this far. Kyrie would play a good game scoring 39 but would struggle since then. As the Nets stars struggle the Celtics star has performed throughout the series. Jayson Tatum is averaging 29.7 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. As Nets fans would not expect their struggles to get any worse Celtics big Robert Williams would return to the roster making the Celtic’s defense even more intense.

With the Nets stars both struggling throughout the series, the Nets have not been able to find a way to defeat the Celtics. With Game 4 on the way the Net’s chances of winning the series seem slim to none. But if Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are able to turn their gamearoundd they may be able to crawl their way back into the series one game at a time.
