Coby White, Bulls Defeat Bucks in Close Thriller

MILWAUKEE (PSF) — The Chicago Bulls (1-1) defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (1-1) last night, the final score was 133-122. Point guard Coby White scored a team-leading 35 points, while shooting 7-13 from beyond the arc.

That shooting performance from White now puts him at the third-most-three-point shots made in Bulls history with 776, passing over shooting guard Ben Gordon who had 770.

Going into halftime, the Bucks had a narrow 64-63 lead over Chicago. However, after the break, the Bulls never scored less points per quarter than Milwaukee. In the third, the team outscored their opponents 39-31. In the fourth, the Bulls outscored the home team by 31-27.

Besides his great shooting and high scoring volume, White also contributed on the defensive side as well with six defensive rebounds and four steals against the Bucks.

The entire starting lineup for Chicago was on fire last night, with each member scoring at least 10 points. Three of which scored over 20.

Shooting guard Zach LaVine scored 25 points, while also tallying two blocks and five rebounds. Center Nikola Vucevic had a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Unfortunately for Vucevic, the main play that people will remember from this game will be a vicious slam dunk he suffered from power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who lead the Bucks in scoring with 38 points, getting a double-double after logging in 11 rebounds.
