With the NBA trade deadline coming to an end on Thursday, February 8th at 3 p.m., teams are now set for the remainder of the season.

Although many teams did not participate in the trade deadline this season, one team stands out. By not participating in the 2024 trade season, the Chicago Bulls marked the third straight year without making a trade.

Between March and August 2021, Executive Vice President ArtΕ«ras KarniΕ‘ovas made five trades in five months. Yet since then- In the past 896 days, the Bulls have only made one trade. When it comes to in-season trades, it has been 1,053 days since they have made any moves.

The Bulls, who sit in ninth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 24-27, have had the spotlight on them for a few weeks leading up to the trade deadline; regarding the possibility of a roster overhaul, and trading key players such as Alex Caruso and Zach Lavine.

Lavine, who recently opted to undergo season-ending foot surgery during the first week of February, was pushed out of any trade conversations possibly until the offseason.

When it came to Caruso, the Bulls front office refused to let the Guard go unless they were wowed by an offer.

Aside from Lavine and Caruso, there were minimal discussions surrounding trades, and the Bulls have to continue to make do with what they have for the remainder of the season.
