Celtics Rally Late in Finals Rematch

Boston, Massachusetts (PSF) - The second matchup of last season’s finals rematch came down to the wire, with the Celtics avenging themselves by coming out victorious. The season series is over, with one win by each team.

The latest game on Thursday night felt like an intense playoff game. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have had issues with the Warriors since the Finals, and those issues showed again in this matchup. Brown and Tatum shot a combined 15-for-45 from the field. Instead, the defense of Al Horford, Robert Williams, and Marcus Smart kept the Celtics in this game and avoided a blowout.

The Warriors looked like they were about to pull away plenty of times in this game, but the Celtics wouldn’t back down. I believe this shows the difference between the Celtics in the Finals compared to this year’s Celtics. They won’t let the game get away from them and will rally in the fourth quarter.

The Celtics were down three with 17 seconds left in the fourth, and Brown hit a clutch three to send the game to overtime. After that, the Celtics had the game as the superstar duo took over in overtime and ended up winning 121-118.

This could be an exciting series again, and it could go down as an all-time series if they meet up in the Finals again.
