The Boston Celtics continue their hot streak with win over Hornets

Don’t look now, but the Boston Celtics have won five of their last six games. Last night, they continued their hot streak with a 113-107 win against the Charolette Hornets.

Despite the Hornets star, LaMelo Ball, scoring 38 points, the Boston team was too much for Charlotte to handle. It starts with the star of the night, Josh Richardson. Richardson had 23 points on 67% shooting which included six three pointers made (75%).

But it wasn’t only Richardson who was on his A-game. Starting point guard and defensive wizard, Marcus Smart, had a game himself scoring 22 points on 64% shooting. Since returning to the rotation after missing six games, Smart has been playing absolutely amazing for the Boston Celtics. He has been the true catalyst for the team, with a +/- of +123 over the last couple of games, leading the NBA.

Jayson Tatum had 19 points last night on 38% shooting. It wasn’t his best performance, but he is another player who has been playing outstandingly for the Celtics as of recent. Currently, Tatum leads the entire NBA in total points scored with 1,269 total points scored.

Jaylen Brown posted 15 points on 47% shooting. The same goes for Brown as it does for Tatum, it wasn’t his most impressive outing, but since he’s averaging 24 points on 46% shooting, I guess we can let it slide.

Another player who has been playing great, is Rob Williams. Last night, Williams had ten points to couple with his eight boards. Along with Smart, Williams has had an impressive past six games, with a +/- of +120. This season, Williams is on pace to break his record of points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and field goal percentage in a season.

The Celtics head over to Detroit to take on the Pistons tomorrow night, hoping to extend their win streak to four games.
